After a busy summer with training camps in Brig, Varna (Bulgaria) and Paris, my season got off to a great start… at the World Championships in Paris! It was a big first for me. Qualifying for this elite tournament is already a rare achievement in our sport. I was lucky enough to compete in the men’s doubles after a whole year of qualifying.

Arriving in this huge arena, meeting the best players in the world and feeling all the media attention was impressive and emotionally charged. On the court, we faced a higher-ranked Scottish pair. Despite a good fight, we lost in two close sets. It was an encouraging defeat that makes me want to come back even stronger!

The second tournament took me to Laško, Slovenia. There, I achieved my best result in mixed doubles, reaching a magnificent final! It was an important milestone in my career. In men’s doubles, we lost in the first round to the eventual winners after a hard-fought three-set match.
